This bespoke cabinet was recently installed in an apartment in the Plaza de España tower in Madrid. The sideboard with concealed TV features a special design: intentionally wide black gaps between the door joints and a satin-black interior contrast with the glossy white exterior. The floating base, which raises the furniture off the floor, also gives the room a distinctive, refined character in which comfort is just as important as design.
The cabinet can quietly raise and conceal a 55-inch television using a remote control. Once raised, the screen can also be manually rotated by up to 45 degrees.
One side of the cabinet includes an area finished with special acoustic fabric so that the client's Bose subwoofer can be housed inside without compromising audio performance, together with additional storage. In total there are three drop-down doors in the upper section and four side-opening doors below. The doors use push-to-open mechanisms and soft-close hinges.
Dimensions: approximately 200 cm wide x 85 cm high x 60 cm deep.
