MATERIALS
“From the warmth of solid wood to new-generation materials”
At MarQuel we favour natural materials such as durable solid wood whenever the project allows. We commonly combine walnut, oak, beech, bamboo and other timbers with oven-cured lacquer in virtually any colour.
We can also work with real-wood veneered boards, marine-grade boards, MDF for lacquered finishes and other materials requested by the client.
Our lacquer finishes are applied in a dedicated paint environment using standards inspired by the automotive sector.
For outdoor projects we can use advanced composite materials that are lightweight and highly resistant to prolonged exposure.
Fittings, shafts, bearings, guides and swivel mechanisms are designed specifically for each project and can incorporate materials such as carbon fibre, steel, aluminium, titanium and specialist alloys.
TECHNOLOGY
“Main objective: comfort”
We use modern electric systems and home-automation technology to conceal televisions and other devices. Different LED lighting systems can be integrated into the furniture to create comfortable, contemporary and efficient spaces.
Selected systems can be controlled from Android and iOS mobile apps via Bluetooth, making lifting, concealment, rotation and tilt easy to operate.
Our outdoor furniture can incorporate rain, snow, wind and temperature sensors together with dehumidification and ventilation systems.
Swivel mechanisms and supports are designed and manufactured specifically for each client.
