I WANT A SIMILAR CABINET

TV cabinet that rotates the screen from horizontal to vertical. Approx. EUR 2,500

Installed on Calle Juan Bravo in Madrid's Salamanca district, this compact bespoke TV cabinet is genuinely unique. A motorised rotating system changes the television between portrait and landscape orientation. The client's idea was to use the TV as a digital picture frame, taking advantage of a Samsung model specifically designed for this purpose.

When the television is not being watched, the cabinet holds it in portrait 'picture' mode; when it is time to watch TV, the screen rotates to landscape mode quickly and quietly using a remote control.

The cabinet incorporates counterweights and an asymmetric design. One of its most important practical features is a special concealed castor system designed for wooden flooring, allowing the cabinet to be moved while maintaining maximum stability.

Thanks to this special design, the TV becomes part of the room decoration, makes the space feel larger, can be positioned directly in front of the sofa for better viewing, and allows the room to benefit from maximum natural light without making the television the dominant feature. The concealed castors also make it easy to move the cabinet back against the wall when not in use.

In this project the client's television is 55 inches and the cabinet was finished in neutral matt white.

At MarQuel we can manufacture similar solutions for any TV size, in any colour and also in veneered or solid wood.
